La Renaissance Learning Centre is a centre specialized in various tutoring programs for elementary and high school students. It offers services at two locations, one in Laval (Chomedey) and one in Boisbriand (Collège Boisbriand), as well as through online classes.
Available positions :
- Laval tutor (3333 boul. du Souvenir, suite 304)
- Boisbriand tutor (Collège Boisbriand, 4747 Ambroise-Lafortune)
- Online tutor
- Camp coordinator (various locations in Laval)
- Camp animator (various locations in Laval)
Position specification :
Tutor
- Part-time positions from Monday to Sunday, varying from 2-24 hours/week
- Schedule : based on availability
- Paid training included
- Salary: starting at $16/hour
Camp coordinator and animator
- Positions offered approximately from June 20th to August 21st
- Schedule : 35 to 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, between 7am and 6pm
- Paid training included
- Salary: between $14.50/hour and $17.00/hour depending on the position and equivalent experiences
Qualifications :
- Completed/completion of University or collegiate studies
- Courses or training done in or in a related field of Education
- University or college studies in progress or recently completed
- Courses or other training related to the field of education
Competencies :
- Must be very comfortable teaching one or many of the following elementary and/or high school subjects: French, English, Math, Sciences, Geography, Histoire, English or French as a second language
- Able to work online with Zoom
- Enjoy teaching
- Bilingualism is an asset
- Having a car is an asset
